Job Title: HR Manager & Admin

About the Client:

An Australian accounting and tax firm is expanding its back-office support services in Pakistan and is seeking talented candidates to join our team.

Position Overview: The Senior Manager will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, retention, and employee benefits. In addition, the role encompasses comprehensive administrative management, ensuring the office operates smoothly and efficiently.

This position directly reports to the Partner in Australia and will manage a team comprising an HR Officer and an Admin Officer. As a senior-level role, it offers an attractive remuneration package, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Management

1.Staffing and Recruitment:Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract and hire the best talent.Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job descriptions, advertising vacancies, conducting interviews, and negotiating employment offers.

2.Onboarding and integration:Create and execute structured onboarding programs to integrate new hires seamlessly.Facilitate orientation sessions, ensuring employees are well-acquainted with the companys culture, policies, and expectations.

3.Training and Development:Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.Develop and manage a comprehensive training calendar and learning programs.Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and continuously enhance their quality.

4.Employee Relations and Retention:Foster a positive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns and grievances.Implement engagement programs, including recognition initiatives, career development pathways, and work-life balance policies.Develop strategies to retain top-performing employees and reduce turnover rates.

5.Compensations & benefits:

Collaborate with external parties, including insurance companies and banks, to manage and enhance employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.Ensure that benefits are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

6.Compliance & Policy:Develop, implement, and update HR policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Administrative Management

1.Office maintenance & support:Oversee office infrastructure, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

2.Operational Efficiency:Develop and implement administrative policies, workflows, and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.Ensure the availability of essential office supplies and resources.

3.Team Supervision:Lead and supervise the HR Officer and Admin Officer, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations.Ensure the team meets established goals and maintains high levels of efficiency and professionalism.

4.Crisis Management:Manage unforeseen challenges such as office disruptions, health and safety emergencies, or external risks affecting operations.

Leadership and Strategic Contribution

1.Collaboration with Leadership:Act as a trusted advisor to the Partner in Australia, providing insights and strategic input on HR and administrative matters.Align HR and admin functions with the companys broader business goals and objectives.

2.Data and Reporting:Prepare and present comprehensive reports on HR metrics, employee satisfaction, retention rates, and operational efficiency.Use data analytics to recommend improvements in HR strategies and administrative practices.

3.Stakeholder Management:Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including legal advisors, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory authorities, to support staff and organizational needs.

Qualifications And Experience:

-Educational Background: Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (masters preferred).

-Professional Experience: At least 6-8 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, including 2-4 years in a senior managerial role.

-Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HR systems, benefits management, and office management tools.

Work Schedule:

-Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (PST)
