Tool and Die Maker

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures * Demonstrates ability to use all hand measurement tools.

* Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required * Safely operate all tool room equipment inclusive of Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.

* Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges * Trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems * Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper * Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment * Demonstrates ability to read and interpret tooling drawings QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); journeyman's certification and/or equivalent experience.
