About the Role:
INTERNSHIP: Part-Time, 10-12 week timeframe, M-F (9AM-3PM)

Electroninks is quickly expanding and is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Facility/Logistic and Lab Intern to join our team! This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals.
The Facility/Logistic and Lab Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of our laboratory environment. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience in managing logistics and facility operations, ensuring that all lab activities run smoothly and effectively. The intern will assist in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and the organization of lab supplies, contributing to a safe and productive workspace. By collaborating with various teams, the intern will gain insights into the logistical challenges faced in a laboratory setting and develop problem-solving skills. Ultimately, this role aims to prepare the intern for future career opportunities in facility management and laboratory operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, logistics, or facility management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a laboratory setting or facility/logistics role.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the lab.
Assists in coordinating all facility needs, including the maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior, equipment and supplies procurement, storage, and assignment
Assists with the administrative operations of the laboratory, including communication with vendors, procurement of supplies, and oversight of lab equipment and inventory (lab consumables, PPE, etc…)
Helping to implement and monitor laboratory policies and procedures
Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas for equipment and supplies.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks
Assist in organizing and maintaining electronic records related to facility maintenance, equipment inventory, receiving department, and laboratory operations.
Provide support for special projects or initiatives led by the Director of Facilities and Logistics and Lab Manager, such as facility renovations, equipment upgrades, or process improvements.
Assist in researching and gathering information for project proposals, including cost estimates and vendor evaluations
Reporting to Director of Facilities and Logistics and Laboratory Manager on a regular basis
