We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time intermediate Service Carpenter/Tile Setter to cover the In-N-Out Burger stores in the Baldwin Park, CA region. The Service Carpenter will be responsible for the maintenance of all In-N-Out Burger facilities in the area of carpentry and tile setting.

General Responsibilities

Strong Tile setting experience necessary; will install tiles on floors, walls and ceilings; install tiles in the restaurants and the bathrooms

Responsible for service calls, either alone, or with the assistance of other carpenters

Perform repairs to walls and ceilings as needed (drywall, stucco)

Spend time at the shop stocking inventory, maintaining phone contacts, and completing assigned paperwork

Available to assist on emergency store calls for the In-N-Out Burger restaurants in Baldwin Park

Maintain tool and supply inventory on truck

All tools and supplies provided by In-N-Out Burger

Service Carpenter will work with and report to the Service Carpenter Supervisor Work Schedule + Benefits

Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Pay Range is $27.60 - $30.25 per hour (Beginner)

Pay Range is $32.75 - $35.80 per hour (Intermediate)

The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

4 nights per week, 10-hour days (Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday)

Hours: Graveyard shift: 12:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; overtime as needed

Weekend and holiday availability required; some weekend call for emergencies

Travel is required 30% of the time; Company truck will be assigned

Location: Ideally this Carpenter will live in the greater Los Angeles area

Corporate office/warehouse located in Baldwin Park, CA; must be able to go into Baldwin Park regularly for meetings and to pick-up materials

5 years experience in Carpentry

2-3 years experience in Tile setting; Tile contractor experience a plus

Experience working as a Handyman preferred

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

Strong customer service orientation

Self-starter, independent worker, Pride and ownership of work

Strong attention to detail and good time management

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

High School diploma or equivalent

A Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

Strong verbal and written English language communication skills
