Job Description

Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Cannon Falls, MN is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide dedicated, one-on-one support to a student. This contract role runs for the school year, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with 35 to 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Interpret munication between the student and classroom teachers, peers, and staff

Facilitate effective and accurate munication in academic and social settings

Support the students access to curriculum and school activities through sign language interpretation

Maintain confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions

Collaborate with educational staff to ensure appropriate acmodations are met

Qualifications:

EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher or RID/NAD Certification required

Minimum of 2 years sign language experience preferred

Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments

Excellent munication and interpersonal skills

Location:
