Purpose

To ensure the completion of all duties as assigned daily on the Runner Daily Task Sheet.

Is responsible for assisting Housekeeping Managers and Supervisors as required.

To provide bicycles to guests for their convenience at the Resort.

The person should have a valid Manual driving licenses and be able to drive a manual car around the Resorts.

Use light vehicles to refill and empty pantries.

To create a safe environment for bikers, pedestrians and drivers.

Set up procedure

Bicycles are part of the villa set up based on villa category and number of pax it can accommodate:

One bedroom – 2 bikes

Two bedroom – 4 bikes

Three bedroom – 6 bikes

Four bedroom – 8 bikes

Five bedroom – 10 bikes

DURING CYCLONE:

No bicycles should be in circulation. Guests are to be informed and Security will do regular patrol to ensure no bicycle movement.

Bicycles will be secured by bicycles attendant in the villas and a decision will be taken in the Cyclone Crisis Committee.

Job Responsibilities

General

To provide effective transportation to the guest on a request basis with safety guidance while maintaining top

Quality product.

Attends to guest and internal customers calls and coordinates with concerned departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery

Pick-up work assignments from the Housekeeping Department, and review for any questions.

Sign in/out the payroll sheet and floor keys.

Report to assigned area(s) with required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.

Deliver additional linen and rollaway to guest rooms as required.

Deliver guest requests from housekeeping.

Collect garbage and recycling items on all floors.

Carry mobile and maintain communication with housekeeping office.

To help during crunch time for villa stripping of departure rooms.

Ensures water requisition done and pantry replenished accordingly prior shift ends.

Make sure buggy is in good working condition and clean all time.

Ensure all pantries are clean, bin and garbage removed prior shift ends.

To ensure that the bicycles are available in the villa as part of the set-up and according to the number of pax as indicated on the arrival list for each arrival room. Any additional bikes required are to be taken from the ENG bicycle parking area prior to arrival and if any defects or anomalies noticed, HotSOS will be raised.

To inspect the good condition of the bicycles: wheels, brakes, cleanliness prior to guest check in.

To disinfect the bicycles before releasing the villa.

Needs to check if Bicycle Tags are correctly placed as per room number.

Ensure all departure villas bicycles are checked and if needed to send to Engineering for general maintenance at the Bicycle Garage. At same time to replace bicycles in villa from Bicycle garage to complete villa set up.

Part of the room orientation, the buggy driver delivering the luggage will confirm with the guests about the seats comfort and offer assistance to be provided by Bicycle attendant. If required, HotSOS Service order to be sent by Buggy driver to Bicycle attendant.

At 18.00 hrs, Security guard at main gate must verify whether all guests have returned to the Resorts, and if any anomalies are found on the registration book, SOD will raise a HotSOS Service Order to Bicycle attendant. Hence, bicycle will be collected from where guest left same and same will be completed on HotSOS.

Using of light vehicles to refill and empty pantries from 6.00 am to 8.00am and 8.00pm to 10.00pm.

To ensure bicycles is set as per arrival and departure set up.

Unattended bicycles after 10pm in a location far from guest room, will be brought back to villa by bicycle attendant.

The bicycles are displayed in the designated area.

Bicycles checked and maintained as part of the Engineering DRP – departure room procedure.

Bicycles are inspected as part of the Housekeeping Arrival room inspection process.

All spare bicycles will be stored in the Fitness backyard (bicycle garage)

All bicycles are recorded with a tracking number on HotSOS (E.g. I00 for villa 100 bikes added under remarks.

Special Requirements

Technical education in Hospitality management is preferred

1 year previous experience in the Housekeeping Department of a 5-star Resort/Hotel.

Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and French language.
