The Operations Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the company's real estate portfolio and construction projects. The Operations Manager ensures the efficient and profitable management of properties, the smooth execution of development projects, and the overall alignment of operational processes with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and strategic leader with a strong background in real estate, property management, and a proven ability to streamline workflows, manage teams, and drive performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Real Estate Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in real estate operations or property management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of real estate laws, federal/state/local regulations, and industry trends.
Exceptional financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Proven experience in process improvement, system implementation, and project management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property owners, investors, vendors, and internal teams.
Proficiency in property and project management software (e.g., AppFolio, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and problem-solving.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of local property markets and demographics is preferred.
