Driving instructor position starting at $20/hour + weekly/Monthly bonuses

Company Description

We are a brand new, woman owned driving school in the Columbus area. We saw a massive hole in the market for people who speak english as their second or even third language. At Ohio Wheels we offer driving instruction in Spanish, English, and Arabic.

We are excited to scale quickly and are looking for driving instructors to help us.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Driving Instructor, located in Dublin, OH. The Driving Instructor will be responsible for conducting driving lessons to teach students how to drive safely and effectively. Day-to-day tasks include teaching road safety rules, providing driver training for various vehicle types, assessing students' driving abilities, and preparing students for driving tests. Additional responsibilities include maintaining student records, and staying updated with the latest road safety regulations and driving techniques.

Qualifications

Must have a clean record and pass a background check

Must Hold a current, clean driver’s license in good standing for at least five consecutive years.

Patience and ability to handle stress

Driving Instruction and Driver Training skills

Road Safety knowledge

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Speaks Spanish, Arabic, or French

Has a driving instructor license

What you will get:

$20 an hour starting base salary with potential weekly/monthly bonuses

We will pay for your driving instructor license (would otherwise cost at least $1,200)
