Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage client engagements by acting as the key client contact and relationship manager
Supervise staff and provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship
Willingness and ability to prepare expert reports and testify in depositions and courtroom settings
Develop a practice area niche, where candidate is the recognized go to expert
Prepare and review client-ready workpapers and reports
Perform valuation, damages, and solvency analyses with effective and organized documentation and support
Anticipate problem areas and questions that will arise during a project
Keep Partners informed of key issues and offer effective and creative solutions to client challenge
Communicate progress of projects, problems, and resolutions to clients
Assist in developing and training staff by providing formal and informal feedback and evaluations, coaching, and assisting with personal development plans
Participate in business development by identifying, developing, and managing new and existing client relationships and through active participation in industry groups, providing and developing training, developing marketing materials such as white papers, and growing a professional network
Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer them to other professionals, if necessary
Prepare and review client billing and monitor time and budgets
QUALIFICATIONS:
7 to 20 years of professional experience with experience in valuation, litigation support, and/or forensic accounting
Experience preparing valuation reports and/or expert reports
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to function in a team environment

Ability to succinctly communicate and document procedures performed
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with a demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
Accounting and valuation credentials or substantial progress toward such credentials required (ASA, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, CFE, CIRA)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Occasional travel for work at clients’ offices using a personal vehicle
Moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime required during certain business cycles
