Data Entry Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining a wide range of data in various systems and databases. Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are crucial to ensuring the integrity of our data.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data in various company systems and databases.

Verify the accuracy of data entries and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

Review and resolve discrepancies or issues in data records.

Process and sort incoming data files and documents.

Prepare reports and data summaries as needed for management.

Ensure data is entered in a timely manner and in accordance with project deadlines.

Collaborate with other departments to verify and validate data.

Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred.

Proven experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative support roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Strong typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Familiarity with data entry software and systems (experience with ERP systems a plus).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in a similar industry (engineering, manufacturing, or automotive).

Experience with data validation or quality control processes.

Knowledge of basic data analytics or reporting tools.
