Job Summary:
DEP is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Information Entry Clerk to support our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and updating information in our systems, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting internal departments by ensuring information is organized and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately enter data from various sources into company databases and systems.
* Review data for errors and inconsistencies; correct any issues found.
* Maintain and update records regularly to ensure up-to-date information.
* Organize digital files and documents according to company standards.
* Respond to data requests from other departments in a timely manner.
* Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information.
* Perform regular quality checks and backups to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus.
* 1+ year of data entry or administrative experience preferred (not required).
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
* High typing speed with a focus on accuracy.
