We are looking to recruit a
Electrical Engineering Manager (m/f/d)
The position is permanent and can be based in our Olsztyn or Heerenveen office. Our Preferred location is Olsztyn. Travelling approx. 15% is expected to support our customers and collaborate with other teams.
You will work in close collaboration with the central organizations as well as Electrical teams globally. Your commitment and passion for leading and developing an engineering team, together with a structured way of working and a striving for results, is important to us. Understanding our customer’s needs and translating them into the solution design comes naturally to you.
What you will do
As a leader and Manager for the Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining specialist capability within the organisation and ensuring that we deploy this knowledge globally. You will be a member of the Engineering management team in Business Stream Cheese. You will plan and manage the deliveries of electrical designs for the Business Stream Cheese scope. It is a challenging position in a highly qualified team in an international environment.
Your main focus will be
Managing and developing a team of 8+ engineers
Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams
Lead the continuous improvement of design & tools
Budget responsible for your team
Own the legal compliance for the countries' electrical standards
To be the spider in the network of our global production organization, as well as suppliers for electrical solutions
To represent BS cheese in forums related to Tetra Pak and electrical solutions
Implement technical/operational functional strategy to meet business needs
Drive short-term resource and competence planning to match business needs
Follow and implement functional operational standards
Develop a high-performing team
Contribute to decision-making around technical / business issues
Deliver on organization KPIs
Deliver Projects On Time, On Budget, With Quality
Lead the development of engineering know-how within the expertise domain
Deliver on Employee Engagement & people development
Develop key relationships with internal stakeholders
We believe you have
University degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience
Minimum 5 years working experience from leading technical teams for projects in an industrial environment, ideally in the food industry
Working experience in Electrical Design and Engineering, as well as Electrical Project and Installation Leadership, would be considered an advantage, specifically within the following areas:
IEC/EN standards and EU directives (MD, EMC, LVD, Atex)
Functional Safety (Risk assessment, SIL-calc, Emergency-stop)
Automation and Power Cabinets design using E-Plan P8
Cable and Pneumatics design and selection, incl. calculation tool
Design of Electrical Installation incl. installation material and cable trays
Electrical Commissioning works include. IO testing and OH
A broad understanding of Electrical Design and Installation, Automation, and Industrial IT in Food & Beverage industrial applications
A very good command of English, both written and verbal, is a must. Polish language knowledge is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Automated Food plant engineering and associated components.
Contractual and commercial knowledge/expertise
Skilled in the preparation/understanding of tenders for food processing solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Effective coach
Proven leadership and motivation skills
Able to communicate with customers at all levels and capable of managing their expectations
