Roles & Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate (and possibly postgraduate) courses in Operation Theater Technology.
Prepare lesson plans, lectures, lab/practical manuals, and assessment tools in line with curriculum guidelines.
Supervise students in laboratory-based and simulation-based training.
Mentor and evaluate students through assignments, internal exams, and presentations.
Research and Development:
Engage in academic research related to OT technology and contribute to scholarly publications.
Encourage and supervise student research projects.
Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in OT techniques and equipment.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and review of the academic curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings, academic audits, and university events.
Assist in organizing workshops, continuing education programs, and faculty development activities.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Operation Theater Technology or related field from a recognized university (M.Sc. in OTT preferred).
Minimum 2-5 years of teaching or relevant clinical experience in a hospital/educational setting.
Strong understanding of surgical protocols, infection control, and OT management.
Excellent communication, instructional, and mentoring skills.
