Mechanical Design Engineer
(Structural Design)
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a
strong background in structural design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate
will have a passion for engineering excellence, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to
work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. This position offers an
exciting opportunity to design structural components for Turbo machinery products
including enclosures, base frames and ancillary systems for New product
development team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create and develop detailed mechanical designs with a focus on structural
integrity, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and specifications.
· Perform comprehensive structural analysis and hand calculations to validate
the performance and safety of designs under various loading conditions.
· Strong understanding of materials science and strength of materials.
· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Electrical engineers,
Manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs into final
products.
· Prepare Detailed engineering documentation, including detailed drawings,
analysis reports and technical specifications.
· Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices to
continuously enhance design process and product offerings.
· Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations and safety
protocols
· Must apply practical design considerations and utilize technical knowledge to
achieve design objectives relative to manufacturability, cost, quality and
durability.
Qualification:
· BE Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
· Ability to produce both concept and Detailed design using CREO.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex
calculations and simulations.
· Strong structural validation knowledge using CREO Simulation or ANSYS.
· Strong knowledge in welding symbols and Standards – API, ASME, ISA, ANSI
& DIN
· Strong knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
· Good communication, organizational, teaming and analytical skills are a must.
