We’re Hiring: Senior Merchandiser – Fashion & Apparel (Woven Focus)

Location: Erode, Tamilnadu Full-Time

We’re looking for a Senior Merchandiser with strong expertise in woven fabrics to lead coordination across design, sourcing, and production. If you understand the depth of fabric behaviour, trims, and execution timelines — and love making ideas launch-ready — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric & Trim Sourcing (Woven Focus)

Source and develop woven fabrics in sync with design requirements (cotton, viscose, rayon, etc.)

Build and maintain a vendor network for consistent quality and competitive pricing

Manage lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk fabric follow-ups

Cross-Functional Coordination

Be the main bridge between designers, sourcing, and production teams

Follow up daily to ensure samples, fabric developments, and POs are progressing on time

️ Print & Surface Development

Coordinate with print vendors for design transfers, strike-off approvals, and corrections

Ensure timely execution of digital/rotary prints, embroideries, and other embellishments

Bulk Production Support

Work with production teams to ensure smooth flow from design handover to bulk delivery

Identify delays early, escalate issues, and ensure all targets are met

️ Calendar Ownership

Create, manage, and track collection launch calendars — keeping all stakeholders aligned

Ensure timely readiness of collections across seasons

What You Bring:

3–7 years of experience in merchandising for apparel brands

Strong technical knowledge of woven fabrics, printing, and trims

Excellent follow-up, vendor negotiation, and team coordination skills

Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (Airtable knowledge is a plus)

Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth fashion setups preferred
