Laser Operator

Temp To Full-Time

Responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machine and other machinery to produce precision metal parts. Operator must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.

Responsibilities

Operate laser cutting machine, drill press, and lathe and other machinery to modify blades.

Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job.

Able to program, by using 2D/3D CAD programs.

Inspect parts by using calipers, Go/ No Go gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Adjustment to laser cutting machine to cut precisely.

Able to perform maintenance on the laser cutting machine, when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs blades/core bits

Must have reliable transportation
