Job Summary:

We are looking for a Jr. Business Development Representative (BDR) to serve as a vital link between our Marketing and Sales teams. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities by reaching out to and building relationships with potential clients.

To succeed in this position, you should have proven experience in generating leads from marketing campaigns and consistently meeting sales targets. You will leverage your strong communication skills to nurture customer relationships—from the initial point of contact through to closing the deal—and ensure a seamless after-sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify new business opportunities and markets by conducting thorough research and analysis.

Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners.

Conduct market research to identify trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and pinpoint potential areas for growth.

Generate leads through networking, industry events, and other channels.

Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage potential clients effectively.

Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align business development strategies with the company’s goals.

Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients.

Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and manage business development activities.

Provide regular reports for management on business development activities and results.

Conduct 70% to 90% of outreach efforts through cold calling to identify new opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.

Requirements and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software such as HubSpot and ZoomInfo.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.

Knowledge of market research techniques and industry trends.

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Flexibility and adaptability to change.

A graduate or college level in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
