Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our full-service fabrication team. This role is critical in supporting daily production by programming CNC lasers, press brakes, and other machinery. You’ll work closely with engineering and production to create efficient, accurate programs that support high-quality, American-made metal products. Key Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs for all new product designs
Update programs to reflect engineering changes and revisions
Interpret sheet metal layouts and create flat patterns for simple and complex parts
Program and optimize CNC lasers and press brakes (Trumpf, Amada)
Improve material utilization and implement scrap reduction strategies
Assist in managing and improving the handling of filler parts
Support production by troubleshooting manufacturing and programming issues
Create and modify CAD drawings as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and shop drawings
Respond quickly to design changes and production needs
Continuously seek ways to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with CNC programming for lasers and press brakes
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks/ Mastercam similar required)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and flat patterns
Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and machinery
Ability to adapt quickly to changes and work in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset
Eagerness to learn and stay current with new technologies and tooling options
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM to 3:30PM
Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience
