Residential Electrical Service Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for responding to daily service calls in your assigned area while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.

Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

Replacing and upgrading electrical services, equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.

Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Service technicians are provided with fully stocked service vehicles.

Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation, and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation

Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices

Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems and device replacements in residential homes as well as commercial properties

Qualifications:

Completed electrician apprenticeship or 3-4 years of electrical experience

Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to read blueprints
