About Haddy

Haddy’s purpose is to bring a new sensibility to furniture manufacturing with reverence for people, passion, and the planet. We aim to revitalize the manufacturing of furniture through the creation of local, sustainable, 3D printing microfactories.

Positional Review:

As a Material Processor you will serve as a pivotal role in pre-robotic processes, warehousing, and post robotic material processing. This person will be an anchor in material preparation and cleanup of 3D printing items for quality and customer compliance.

Responsibilities:

Cleanup of printing products including sanding, cutting, drilling, and mechanical assembly

Performs a variety of tasks around warehousing, shipping, and pre and post material processing

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Ensure that quality is the highest priority and methods used to ensure that customer satisfaction is met to the highest extent possible

Readily troubleshoot/resolve problems, and monitor production items to ensure efficiency/quality is maintained

Receiving, Packaging, and Shipping of cargo

Operate Packaging Machinery and fabrication of custom packaging

Ensure smooth functioning of the factory through use of a forklift, pallet jack, and manual lifting (onsite training available for on-site equipment)

Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc.

Learn new skills and help outside your competency

Work as a team and maximize productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

High school education, GED or Associate Degree

Experience in general hand tools including but not limited to sanders, drills, and saws

Have an interest in robotics and new manufacturing techniques

Have interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) disciplines

General knowledge in basic measuring tools and ability to read dimensional prints

Able to work in rigorous environments

Reliable transportation

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Follow instructions and be comfortable around both simple and complex machinery

Ability to work and thrive in a multicultural work environment with diverse backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, and identity

Preferred / Trainable Requirements:

Forklift experience or certification

Additive 3D Printing Experience

Knowledge of plastic manufacturing

Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes
