Job Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure the highest
levels of availability and security of Boxer platforms and services, and creates and implements related policies
and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee the design and documentation of the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network
(WAN), tracking of infrastructure system build-out status, specification and configuration of firewalls,
switches, core routers, VPN concentrators, content switches, web management devices
Install, configure and manage reporting tools and software
Manage the utilization of hardware and software tool to monitor health of Internet connection, WAN and
various LANs; correct issues with network
Travel to offices in other markets to assist IT infrastructure and office setup, as required
Assist in ensuring 24/7 availability of services and infrastructure in our production environment
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Knowledge and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering and/or recognized industry certificates (CCNA,
CCNP, etc)
4+ years network and systems administration experience, including
Commercial and public domain UNIX/derivative administration
Cisco and other vendor router and switches configuration and management
Application software installation and deployment
Code management and revision control systems experience
LAN and WAN routing of IP
Additional Requirements:
