Job Summary We’re hiring a Team Leader – Branch Sales to manage and supervise the branch sales team in the fast-growing FinTech company MajibuAfrica.

Salary: UGX 1–1.5M gross (negotiable) + a motivating bonus system!

Minimum Qualification : Bachelors Experience Level : Mid level Experience Length : 2 years Job Description/Requirements Job Purpose: The Team Leader – Branch Sales is responsible for directly managing and supervising the branch sales team, ensuring the achievement of assigned KPIs, upholding company policies, maintaining strong relationships with branch partners, and creating a high-performance sales culture.

This role is both operational and strategic, requiring strong leadership, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities: 1.

Team Management & Supervision • Lead and supervise daily activities of the branch sales team.

• Monitor individual and team performance to ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly KPIs.

• Provide coaching, motivation, and mentorship to sales staff.

• Ensure adherence to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and code of conduct.

2.

Sales Performance & Execution • Ensure each salesperson is meeting personal targets and contributing to overall branch targets.

• Support the team in closing high-value leads, especially where escalation or negotiation is needed.

• Guide team in proper use of CRM, lead follow-up, and client onboarding processes.

3.

Relationship Management • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with partner shop staff or branch hosts.

• Act as the primary liaison between the branch, the partners, and the internal management team.

• Address any concerns or feedback from partners promptly and professionally.

4.

Meetings, Reporting & Communication • Conduct weekly team meetings to review performance, challenges, and priorities.

• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on team performance, leads, and challenges.

• Relay all important updates or policy changes from management to the team in a timely manner.

5.

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution • Be the first point of contact for any sales team-related challenges or operational issues at the branch.

• Handle minor conflicts or complaints internally before escalating to the Head of Sales.

• Ensure all emergencies or sensitive matters are properly reported through the right channels.

6.

Compliance & Discipline • Monitor punctuality, professionalism, and general conduct of the sales team.

• Ensure all team members follow company policies, including attendance, client handling, and asset usage.

• Recommend disciplinary actions in line with HR and management procedures when necessary.

7.

Training & Onboarding • Support onboarding of new sales staff assigned to the branch.

• Conduct or coordinate refresher trainings and briefings as needed.

8.

Asset & Resource Management • Ensure proper use and accountability of any materials, uniforms, or assets assigned to the sales team at the branch.

• Report any damage, loss, or misuse immediately.

Key Competencies: • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Results-driven and goal-oriented • High level of professionalism and integrity • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Proficient in CRM tools and basic reporting Qualifications & Experience: • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field • Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales supervisory or team leadership role • Experience in asset finance or retail finance is an added advantage What We Offer: Gross monthly salary: UGX 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 (negotiable) + motivating bonus system!
