Technical Lead Developer - SAP ABAP

Must be eligible for a Federal Security Clearance (US Citizen)

Facility is located in Amarillo TX, but can be remote/Hybrid. Must be able to travel onsite every 6 weeks

Knowledge, Skillset, and Abilities (KSAs)

5-10 years’ experience in ABAP development and ABAP Objects

5-10 years’ experience in SAPs Plant Maintenance module

2-5 years’ experience in designing, maintaining, and implementing large scale enterprise business applications is desired, especially experience with SAP products

5-10 years’ experience in Object Oriented Programming/Design, Web Development, Database Programming, and debugging

5-10 years’ experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, SQL technologies

5-10 years’ experience in Web Services (SOAP and REST), and client-side JavaScript frameworks like React, UI5, or Angular

2-5 years’ experience with Agile SCRUM development projects

Ability to develop robust and maintainable code with clear documentation

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts such as inheritance, composition, and encapsulation, as well as the MVC design pattern

Oracle or other relational database management processes is a plus, e. g. Git, CI/CD pipelines, SAP transports

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience supporting and mentoring junior developers

Specific Requirements

Demonstratable SAP knowledge is required. SAP Certification in related areas is preferred

Specific Deliverables

Bi-weekly status report on development projects within the assigned business support areas
