Fashion Technical Designer – ACTA Collection Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Fashion Technical Designer to partner closely with our Design team in bringing our ACTA collection to life.

The ideal candidate will be meticulous in fit, measurements, and garment construction, with a strong understanding of activewear and lounge knitwear.

You will own the technical execution from Proto to TOP stages, ensuring products meet our high standards for fit, quality, and performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure garments precisely prior to fittings to identify fit issues and provide timely, accurate fit comments to keep production on schedule.

Illustrate pattern corrections and style adjustments using clear, detailed visuals to ensure precise communication with overseas vendors.

Maintain daily communication with domestic and international vendors to address fit feedback and implement construction and pattern updates.Collaborate with the Design team to ensure the execution of design intent while upholding standards for fit, construction, and workmanship.Develop comprehensive fit comment documents covering all garment elements including fit, fabric, construction, stitching, and trims.Lead and participate in fit sessions, offering expert recommendations, documenting critiques, and driving improvements.Lead and participate in fit sessions, offering expert recommendations, documenting critiques, and driving improvements.Approve final production samples in coordination with Design after thorough evaluation of fit, measurement accuracy, hanger appeal, and functionality.

Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in technical design, preferably in activewear or lounge apparel.

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or equivalent professional experience preferred.Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and fit evaluation.

Proven ability to lead fit sessions and execute fit corrections independently.

Experience working with overseas vendors and navigating international product development cyclesProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel; familiarity with 3D CAD software such as Browzwear or CLO 3D is a plusStrong organizational and communication skills; ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple styles simultaneouslyMust provide a portfolio demonstrating technical design experience and garment development proficiency.
