We are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager at our Calgary base in the Human Resources department.

While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS’ Human Resources team, you will play an important role in STARS’ life-saving mission. Be part of something bigger. Be part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the HRBP team by providing guidance and support in navigating their client group needs and priorities

Coordinating HR activities through the assessment of capacity and organizational priorities

Making decisions on HR processes to ensure consistency and continuity of application

Acting as a HRBP to client groups

Providing quality support to leaders regarding all aspects of human resources management including compensation, benefits, performance management, workforce planning and HR policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements:

10+ years of progressive HR experience, leadership and responsibility in strategic HR positions, consulting and/or business advisory capacity

Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field; relevant experience considered, having a CHRP is considered an asset

You have strong diagnostic skills followed by the ability to evaluate alternatives and to develop recommendations for solutions to complex and multi-dimensional challenges
