Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their team! This position is located in Plano, Texas.
Duties:
Collaborate with design engineers to confirm the selection of sensors, motors, and other electrical components
Finalize control panel designs using standard architecture templates and standardized component sets
Complete the electrical Bill of Materials (BOM) and release it for procurement
Update wiring diagrams to reflect the final control panel design based on provided templates
Develop and debug ladder logic programming for sequence and control in Automation Direct PLCs, starting from standard PLC templates Desired Skills/Experience:
5+ years of PLC programming experience
Ability to develop and implement ladder logic programs from scratch
Experience integrating and programming stepper motors, gantry or motion systems, and sensors
Familiarity with Automation Direct PLCs and ProductivitySuite software is preferred
Experience with PLC programming methods such as recipe management, data management, remote data logging, or MQTT protocol is a plus
Hands-on approach with a willingness to assist in building, wiring, debugging, and testing solutions
Passion for automation and innovation
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the automation design team

401K offered The approximate pay range for this position is between $63.00 and $90.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
