**Job Title: Tool Crib Attendant**
**Job Description**
Responsible for the independent and efficient management of the tool management program, tool room, calibrated equipment, and associated test equipment. Issue tools and test equipment, monitor tool calibration, perform inspections for serviceability, foreign objects, and broken tools in accordance with manufacturer manuals, company programs, policies and procedures, and FAA documents and advisory circulars.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform daily inventory of tool room assets; conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections on tools, toolboxes, and equipment for condition and serviceability, free of foreign objects, proper markings and etchings, and properly shadowed to easily identify lost tools.
+ Issue parts, tools, and equipment from inventory. Create tool control program to maintain accountability.
+ Maintain and track all tools and equipment; tool calibration and inspection dates and location in maintenance database and/or Fixed Asset System (FAS) software. Report all missing tools to supervisor.
+ Identify equipment needing repair or replacement; make minor adjustments, lubricate, and repair tools and equipment.
+ Replace broken tools. Keep equipment functional and ready for use.
+ Maintain records of tool inventories, broken tool logs, and equipment. Maintain calibrated tool historical records. Ensure records are complete and available for FAA Inspectors.
+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service in accordance with maintenance manuals and technical publications to verify serviceability.
+ Receive, inspect, and confirm the quality and quantity of ordered supplies, material, and equipment.
+ Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to the department supervisor.
+ Advise department management of any issues, delays, and/or schedule interruptions.
+ Ensure work area is clean, safe, and orderly at all times, inclusive of work area and hangar as required.
+ Adhere to company policies, safety manuals (including hazardous materials program), and Repair Station Manuals (RSM).
+ Stay informed of tool control technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve logistic processes.
+ Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and/or participating in professional associations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must be computer literate and possess at least an intermediate understanding of Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Must be able to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, performing other duties outside the job description, as needed, to meet the company mission.
+ Must be able to function effectively in a demanding, fast-paced, and constantly changing work environment.
+ Must be able to adhere to all corporate policies/standards, procedures, company goals and priorities, company core values and practices.
+ Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding work performed, as well as protect company proprietary information.
+ Must be able to work and participate in a team environment, as well as independently.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Must possess knowledge of various tool control programs and their applications.
+ Possess knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regarding aircraft parts, company procedures, General Operations Manuals (GOM), Repair Station Manual (RSM), manufacturers’ manuals, blueprints, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA’s), and Minimum Equipment List (MEL).
+ Must possess knowledge of International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) and export rules and regulations.
+ Working knowledge of database software; inventory software, and ordering processing systems.
+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
+ Must be meticulous in detail of inventory control and parts ordering.
+ Successfully complete all training required for job level, and meet technical knowledge and proficiency standards to travel within two years.
+ High School diploma or equivalent AND five years of relevant and progressively responsible hands-on work experience in aviation logistics OR equivalent U.S. Military training, and logistics certifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crestview, Florida.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.58/hr.
