Medical Device Assembler, Operations - Shift 2

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Medical Device Assembler, Operations - Shift 2 for a contract job with a client in Dublin, OH. Candidates must be able to visually identify defects and complete documentation while maintaining cleanroom standards and safety compliance.

Note: 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM- 11:00 PM EST

Rate Range: $17/hour to 17.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Medical Device Assembler, Operations - Shift 2 job responsibilities include:

Assemble small medical device components using hand tools, fixtures, and equipment while maintaining precision and quality standards.

Inspect products visually and with magnification tools to identify and sort out defective items, ensuring compliance with quality specifications.

Weigh, count, package, and label finished products accurately according to work orders and production documentation.

Complete production records and documentation including labor sheets, check sheets, and work orders to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with cleanroom and safety protocols, participating in safety programs and reporting hazards.

Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement, troubleshoot issues, and ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom assembly environment, preferably in medical devices.

Strong manual dexterity and ability to assemble small components using hand tools and visual inspection equipment.

Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, documentation practices, and compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour
