Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support pediatric outpatient services in a K-12 school setting located in Tavernier, FL. This full-year contract position involves working with a school-aged outpatient population, primarily children ages 2 to 18, presenting with mild to moderate communication challenges. The role focuses on providing therapy targeting pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading and writing delays, articulation, and high-functioning autism. The environment is low stress with a manageable schedule of one child per hour and a one-hour lunch break, with no travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized speech therapy to children within the outpatient clinic.

Address speech and language needs, including autism spectrum-related communication, articulation, and literacy delays.

Collaborate with school and healthcare staff to support student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of therapy sessions.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in school and healthcare settings.

Comfort working with pediatric populations ranging from toddlers to late adolescents.

Ability to handle mild to moderate speech and language disorders, including pragmatic language and autism-related challenges.
