Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a strong sales track record, and the ability to consult with clients to provide tailored roofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial roofing opportunities.
Identify and engage prospective clients through networking, cold calling, site visits, and referrals.
Conduct thorough site inspections to assess customer needs and develop accurate project scopes and proposals.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and bids to decision-makers.
Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and property managers.
Collaborate with internal teams including estimators, project managers, and operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
Track sales activity and performance metrics using CRM software.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitors, and product innovations in the commercial roofing space.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience in commercial roofing or a related construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Proficient with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Modified Bitumen, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
Existing network of contacts in commercial construction, property management, or facilities.
