Injection Molding Process Engineer

Job Description

• Support mold trials and help transition new tooling and models into production.

• Investigate and resolve scrap, cycle time, and process variability issues.

• Collaborate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to improve reliability and efficiency.

• Participate in capital projects involving molding equipment and automation.

• Assist with tooling reviews and design feedback using CAD and 3D modeling software.

• Identify and implement process changes that drive down cost and improve part quality

• Oversee new tool start-up and qualification

• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment performance and operations as well as support the introduction of new molds, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment.Company Description
