We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical systems. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are operating at optimal performance levels. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining the high standards of our dealership.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair estimates to customers.

Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.

Work on GM vehicles with a focus on adhering to manufacturer specifications.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's condition and repair needs.

Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the service department.

Experience

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting.

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.

Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience with auto estimating software is preferred.

Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Knowledge of ADAS technologies is a plus but not required.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No nights

Weekends as needed
