Job Description
ModCorr offers rapid, efficient delivery and setup of minimum to maximum security correctional facilities and specialty units. All products are constructed offsite in a controlled environment and conform to the same building codes as traditional construction. ModCorr’s safe, secure and high-quality units comply with all American Correctional Association (ACA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The Foreman is responsible for directing work and monitoring the quality and workmanship of work performed. The Foreman is also responsible for directly performing a wide variety of skilled construction duties, SEC Technician development, job site safety programs and reporting of pre-task planning, daily AHA, JSA, and Toolbox talks as part of daily reports. Creating and maintaining a 4 week look ahead and scheduling with sub-contractors and other trades. This position will require travel to various locations for both long-term and short-term assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete daily and weekly planning and scheduling of work activities for the team based on level of skill and time availability.
Use hand and power tools, measuring and testing devices as well as equipment and materials applicable to construction and installation to accomplish tasks.
Fluently interpret construction drawings, blueprints, sketches, and schematics as required.
Participate in project-specific safety initiatives and proactively identify safety concerns; perform safety checks and inspections.
May need to act as project lead and/ or point of contact for the Company depending on the project.
Manage all necessary project compliance, including inspections and certifications.
Effectively plan and manage tasks to minimize unexpected and urgent situations.
Maintain a clean, orderly and organized environment.
Manage tools and machinery as required.
Lift up to 50lbs.
Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate.
Maintain the standards, culture and values of the Company

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Highschool diploma or GED required
5+ years of related experience, specifically in commercial or institutional construction
OSHA-30 Certification
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
Frequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching throughout the shift.
Manual dexterity for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
Ability to climb ladders or stairs and work at varying heights as needed.
