Job Description
Design Drafter
$300 SIGN ON BONUS (AFTER 80 HOURS COMPLETED)
Responsibilities:
Uses computer-aided drafting software to create new and correct existing drawings and designs to meet engineering specifications and production requirements
Calculates dimensions, weights, capacities, or qualities by applying mathematical formula
Ensures that the drafting department’s project folders are complete, current, and filed appropriately
Checks and issues production drawings and job packets to document control
Issues CNC data to production
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Working knowledge of SolidWorks
3D modeling experience
Working knowledge of Excel
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with associated deadlines
Ability to work in a team environment, build relationships with internal and external organizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new technologies
High School diploma or GED required
Two to five years prior experience in drafting utilizing AutoCAD and/or Solidworks OR certification in drafting and one year experience utilizing AutoCAD and/or Solidworks
Hours:
Mon-Thur; 8am-5pm
Fri; 8am-3pm
Pay:
$28-32/hour DOE
