Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – PM SHIFT

Location: Tannochside (Uddingston)

Pay Rate: £12.21 to £15.01 per hour

Shift: 3:00 PM start

Shift Length: Approx. 5–6 hours per day, based on client requirements

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client's busy parcel distribution site in Tannochside.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, has a good head on their shoulders, and can handle a fast-paced environment with a calm and methodical approach.

This is not an entry-level role. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and support the afternoon team to ensure all operational targets are met efficiently and safely.

Day-to-Day Duties

Unloading and sorting parcels from delivery vehicles (up to 25kg)

Organising items into designated areas or cages

Following site processes to maintain safety and order

Supporting other team members and maintaining shift pace

Communicating effectively to resolve any issues during the shift

What we are looking For

Proven warehouse or logistics experience

Strong attention to detail and a calm, logical mindset

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently when required

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks

Availability

This role is for the afternoon shift starting at 3:00 PM

Monday to Sunday availability preferred

Flexibility to work additional shifts if required

Training & Support

Full site training provided

Ongoing support from the People Solutions team
