Acloche has immediate openings for a community driven Coordinator in the Columbus area!
Job Summary:
While our team would be responsible for identifying the different community events we are attending, this person would help make sure we have people to staff them, gather up the materials to be handed out, work with the event organizers to get all the important details, coordinate with Facilities to get the materials to the events and back, sometimes attend events if we are short-staffed, and then follow-up to make sure everything is back and ready for the next event. Must be okay with some physical work as may require lifting and loading boxes to go out to events.
Primary duties include:
- Professional Demeanor.
- Recruit and provide responses to staff within the Community Engagement Team for community events.
- Develop a schedule with specific time slots for each event where community engagement staff can register to participate.
- Add events to the Community Outreach Calendar.
- Be capable of lifting weights up to 25-30 lbs.
- Pack and label supplies and merchandise needed for events.
- Contact event organizers to confirm important details, such as location, time for set and breakdown, direction, equipment provided, size of space, on-site contacts, and more.
- Coordinate with the Facilities team and create a Facility Dude request for tents, chairs, documents, and merchandise that must be delivered to the event site (including times, onsite contact, and directions, and map for the designated setup area).
- Contact the engagement team or community outreach staff for setup and breakdown if Facilities are unable to help with the event. Pack and label all items, including tents, chairs, documents, and merchandise for delivery to the site. The request should include the setup and breakdown times, date, onsite contact, and directions, as well as a map for the setup area when available.
- Return all materials and documents to the storeroom or assigned cabinets.
- Attend community events in the event we are short staffed and cannot find a member of the Community Engagement team to attend.
- Keeping track of inventory for engagement events and maintaining organization in the storage area.
Hours: Part time (20 - 25 hours weekly), 1st shift 8am - 5pm, flexible time
Pay rate: $19.32
