Graduate Trainee: Analyst Risk Management

The Graduate Trainee: Analyst Risk Management position is designed to give incumbents access to a practical work environment where they can learn from experts, and adapt their theoretical knowledge. The Trainee will will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could affect the operations, financial stability, and reputation of EWSC. The role will also expose the trainee to the tolls and systems used to manage risk, allocating resources, and ensuring that maintenance of the risks.

Key deliverables:

Assist in the identification, assessment, and documentation of operational and strategic risks.

Support the maintenance of the corporate and departmental risk registers.

Help monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and support early warning reporting processes.

Participate in incident reporting and root cause analysis exercises.

Support business continuity planning and testing initiatives.

Assist in preparing risk reports and presentations for internal committees.

Help track risk mitigation plans and monitor control effectiveness.

Collaborate with departments (e.g. Operations, Finance, Technical Services, Customer Management) to gather risk information and validate data.
