The Wealth Operations Data Associate is a hybrid role designed for individuals eager to grow in both financial operations and data analytics. As part of the integrated Wealth Management Operations team, you will support account processing, asset/money movement, and client servicing, while also using the fundamentals of data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with investment operations and use technical skills in data management, reporting, and insights generation. You will collaborate with Financial Advisors, Sales Assistants, Risk Management, Compliance, and the Enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure operational excellence and data integrity.

Primary Responsibilities

Data Analysis

Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights

Familiarize yourself with business systems, processes, and customer data to support team requests

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)

Assist with data cleaning and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms

Analyze large datasets to identify book moves and submit updates to vendors

Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Compliance & Risk

Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations

Monitor data integrity and recommend improvements to reduce risk

Validate that corrected data meets company standards and business rules

Qualifications

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Minimum 1 year of experience in banking and financial services

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)

Willingness to learn and adapt to various computer-based systems (e.g., Salesforce, NFS, Microsoft Office)

Preferred

Experience with data tools such as Tableau, Python, or SQL

Knowledge of financial services regulations and investment products

FINRA SIE, Series 7, and/or 63 or 66 licenses

Demonstrated job stability

Interest in Wealth Management

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET

100% in-office until fully trained and performing at a high level, with potential for a hybrid schedule thereafter
