Location: Milwaukee, WI 53215

Contract: 3 months with possible extension

Start Date: August 18 (tentative)

Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (Variable start: 5:30 AM-7:00 AM)

Schedule: 40 hours/week

On-Call Requirements:

Evening/Night: 5:30 PM-10:30 PM, 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

Weekend Call: 1-2 weekends/month (24-hour Sat & Sun)

Schedule: 8 shifts per week (subject to change per dept needs)

Holiday: 4x10s available; option to take unpaid holiday off Role Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years as Surgical Tech with strong Neuro/ENT background (Crani, EVD, Spine, etc.)

Certifications: BLS required

First-time Travelers: Not recommended unless approved by hiring manager

Floating: Not applicable outside Main OR specialties

Charting System: Epic

Equipment: Pyxis, Alaris Facility Highlights

Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center Level III NICU Magnet Designated

Beds: 938

Operating Rooms: 21 OR Beds

Note: Robotic training not provided unless candidate has prior experience and long-term contract

Additional Info

Orientation: 1 to 1.5 weeks based on team and shift

Support: Charge Nurses, Leads, and Supervisors

Scrubs: Hospital-provided surgical scrubs (bouffant required over scrub caps)

Parking: Free - Day shift in off-site lot (2 blocks away); PM shift onsite

Food: Starbucks and cafeteria on campus

Call Rooms: Not available
