Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager with 12 years of brokerage or logistics experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with McLeod TMS software and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Youll be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, managing freight operations, and ensuring seamless execution of daily logistics tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day client communication and operations for assigned accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and internal teams
Enter, update, and manage load information in McLeod software
Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery, proactively addressing any service issues
Work closely with carrier sales and dispatch to ensure on-time performance
Handle rate negotiations, spot quotes, and resolve billing discrepancies
Track KPIs and service metrics for customer accounts and provide reporting as needed
Support business growth through excellent service and upselling opportunities
Qualifications:
12 years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation
Proficiency with McLeod TMS software required
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Customer-first mindset with a sense of urgency
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree a plus)
