Conveniently located off I-694 and University Ave in Fridley, MN, we have an immediate opening for a 1st Shift Assembly Technician (Diesel Engines) at Portland OR Facility.

Reviva is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our growing Engine Assembly department. In this crucial role, you’ll assemble top-quality diesel engines, ensuring they meet our rigorous performance standards.

This role is ideally suited for someone with proven hands-on experience in engine assembly. We're hiring with a career path in mind—starting as an Assembler 2 with growth potential into a Sr. Assembler role.

Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical assembly activities to required tolerances/specifications.

Assemble components for diesel engines meticulously, following detailed blueprints, work instructions, and assembly procedures.

Follow all processes according to our standard work manuals.

Use various hand, impact, vibrating, torqueing, and power tools.

Operate stationary or moving overhead hoists, forklifts, baskets, and carts.

Work collaboratively on a team to meet internal and external customer demand.

Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in engine assembly is required.

Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Hands-on mechanical aptitude; enjoys working with tools and solving problems.

Experience building, maintaining, or repairing diesel engines is a strong plus.

Comfortable reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, and schematics.

Previous experience operating hand and power tools.

Technical school graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Career Path:

This position is aligned with our Assembler 2 level and offers a clear path to advancement into a Senior Assembler role based on performance, skill development, and leadership potential.

Hours: 1st shift: 7AM-3:30Pm Monday - Friday!

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting. The environment on the shop floor is typically loud, hot, and humid in the summer and involves standing on cement floors with exposure to chemicals and metal particles. PPE is required on the manufacturing floor at all times.
