Job Description
Typical Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, every third weekend/holiday rotation
Qualifications:
CNA with current Wisconsin Certification or the ability to obtain, required.
BLS certification, required.
Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg or hospital experience, preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Assists the nurse to carry out the nursing process to deliver the highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration with the nursing team. The CNA provides daily patient cares, activities, and other tasks as delegated by the nursing staff. He/she monitors and interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. All other duties as assigned within the scope of CNA practice.
