Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Alarm & Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, programming, and servicing security systems including Alarm.com, DSC, Bosch, DMP, Network and Analog Cameras, and Access Control Systems.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems (Alarm.com, DSC, Bosch, DMP)

Set up and configure IP/network-based and analog surveillance cameras

Install and maintain access control systems (card readers, electric strikes, maglocks, etc.)

Conduct site surveys and system design as needed

Maintain documentation for all installations and service calls

Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Provide exceptional customer service and technical support

Maintain clean and safe job sites

Stay current on industry standards and product updates

Requirements

** MUST HAVE ALARM/ ACCESS CONTROL EXPERIENCE **

2+ years of experience in alarm and/or security system installation

Familiarity with Alarm.com, DSC, Bosch, DMP systems

Experience with CCTV (IP & analog) and access control

Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check (Fingerprints will be taken)

Good communication skills and a professional attitude

Basic hand tools (company provides specialized tools and equipment)

Preferred:

Low voltage license (if required in your area)

Manufacturer certifications (a plus, but not required)
