TAX MANAGER
NW Staffing Resources is proud to partner with a well-established Certified Public Accounting firm in Yamhill County to find an experienced Tax Manager for a direct hire opportunity. LOCATION: Yamhill County, OR (Onsite)
SALARY: $130k+/yr. DOE
SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Busy season: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Flexible hours available
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee diverse client tax engagements
Review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns
Address multi-state filings, ownership changes, asset and stock sales, and other complexities
Conduct tax research and communicate findings with clients and team members
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff while maintaining high service standards
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of recent public accounting experience, including managing and mentoring a tax team
CPA license, EA, or LTC certification (required)
Extensive experience preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
General office duties in a professional, temperature-controlled environment
Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
