We’re recruiting for an established property and casualty insurer that’s almost 200 years old. They’re modernizing their data and analytics environment and need a true expert to lead the effort. The right person for this role will have multiple years of strong cloud experience and be comfortable at all levels of data management, from strategy to hands-on.

THE WORK: In this role, your job will run through a number of phases: assessing the current environment, picking a cloud vendor (AWS or Azure), designing a target environment, porting the organization’s data to that environment, and then managing and improving that environment over time.
LOCATION: While remote candidates will be considered for this role, strong preference will be given to candidates able to work hybrid schedules in Palm Beach, Florida or Columbus, Ohio. If you’re interested, our client has agreed to reimburse relocation expenses for the right candidate.
MODE: This is a permanent, full-time position.
REQUIRED: Applicants must be very strong in:
Cloud data architecture
SQL
ETL design and development
DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in:
Generative artificial intelligence
Snowflake, Databricks, and analogous technologies offered by Microsoft and Amazon
The P&C insurance industry
COMPENSATION: $150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience plus a strong benefits package.
