We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on backend development, requiring expertise in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and database management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation and thrive in creating efficient, user-friendly applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new features to enhance existing applications.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

• Review and improve code quality through thorough debugging and testing.

• Optimize application performance to ensure smooth functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems, ensuring backward compatibility.

• Gather and analyze user feedback to enhance application usability and functionality.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend their integration where beneficial.

• Participate in Agile Scrum processes, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer.

• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and API development.

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and database management.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software architecture.

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and bug tracking tools like Atlassian Jira.

• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
