Job Description

Assemble and process medical device components/products utilizing light tools and equipment according to instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

Manufacture, assemble, and process medical device components/products.

Utilize light tools and equipment according to instructions/specifications.

Work with precision in assembly and sub-assembly operations in a clean room environment.

Operate machines in the laser area to cut and shape small nitinol components.

Handle raw materials in the materials area with more heavy and dirty conditions.Essential Skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment with small part assembly.

Fluent in speaking and reading English.

Comfortable with production floor and light gowning.

Comfortable around chemicals and lifting 10-15lbs repetitively.

Experience in machine operating and using hand tools.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Able to utilize measurement tools and devices as required by the process.

Good manual dexterity.Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing environment divided into three main areas: a clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, a laser area for cutting and shaping small nitinol components, and a materials area which involves working with raw materials. The role requires comfort with a manufacturing environment, handling chemicals, and adhering to a light gowning dress code. The standard work shift is from Monday to Friday, 9:45pm to 6:15am, with a training schedule that includes swing and day shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, California.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.15/hr.
