Description:

This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The roles primary focus is with Naval Education and Training Future Officer and Citizenship User System (NETFOCUS). The .NET Developer will require: Develop applications in ASP.NET Webforms and ASP.NET MVC using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2016 (or later) product suite and C# and Visual Basic programming languages

Develop Graphical User Interface (GUI) utilizing HTML5 standard for page structure, CSS and Bootstrap for styling, certain client-side technologies for efficiency such as JavaScript and jQuery

Experience developing websites

Experience with developing in Salesforce (Apex)

Maintain existing web applications to include troubleshooting of web servers, programming changes, database structures, performance monitoring, and associated documentation

Support end users, troubleshoots workflow problems, creates ad hoc queries, analyzes and modifies data when necessary

Required Experience and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or NCAE-C designated institution - or - two (2) years of experience with a CSSLP, GSEC, or CISSP-ISSAP - or - previous DoD/Military course completion of M09CVQ1, M03385G, M10395B, M223854, or M0923W1

Web programming and support experience using web development tools (e.g., Microsoft Visual Studio's .NET C# & Visual Basic, JavaScript, Apex) to develop, modify, and maintain software. Tasks include software coding and compilation, deployment, documentation, testing, and maintenance

Certifications: Clearance Required:

Must have an Interim Secret security (at minimum) clearance to start Desired Skills: Experience using MVC architectures

Familiarity with Oracle SQL and Microsoft SQL

Familiarity with defensive/secure programming

Familiarity with modern IDEs

Familiarity with version-control systems
