Position Title: Project Manager - Federal Grant and Loan Support

Reports To: Managing Director, Federal Grants

Overview:
We are hiring a Project Manager to support our federal grant and loan application efforts. This role will partner with the Grant Submittal Manager and LPO Contract Manager to coordinate documentation, track progress, manage project timelines, and ensure timely submissions.
This individual will play a critical role in keeping our application efforts organized, compliant, and on track with federal deadlines. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and understands project coordination principles within regulatory, government, or compliance-driven settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Assist with planning and managing federal grant/loan submission activities, aligning efforts across departments.
Timeline & Milestone Tracking: Maintain detailed project schedules and proactively manage deliverables to meet deadlines.
Document Management: Gather, organize, and ensure accuracy of supporting documents for submissions.
Communication: Facilitate regular updates and collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
Risk Mitigation: Identify roadblocks and help develop contingency plans.
Reporting: Provide updates on status, risks, and next steps to leadership.
Support Functions: Assist both the Grant Submittal Manager and LPO Contract Manager with administrative and tracking duties. Required Experience:
3+ years of project management experience, ideally in a regulated or government-facing environment
Familiarity with federal grant or loan programs, such as DOE/LPO initiatives
Experience working cross-functionally with compliance, legal, and technical teams Skills:
Project coordination
Time and document management
Written and verbal communication
MS Project or similar PM tools
Familiarity with regulatory or federal application processes Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business, or related field with 3 years' experience; OR
Associate's degree with 5 years' experience Certifications & Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Must reside in client territory
Willingness to travel occasionally
