As a Senior Planning Specialist you will play a key role in driving better forecasting and smoother delivery for our International Distributor business. Based at the Cannondale factory in Almelo, you’ll work across multiple Pon.Bike brands and team up with Sales, Planning, and Supply to help boost sales and support profitable growth.
Note: This is not a remote position. This role is based in our in Almelo, Netherlands office.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Forecasting & Demand Planning
Lead international distributor forecasting using inputs and historical trends; deliver monthly updates to Global S&OP.
Coordinate product assortments across Pon.Bike brands; generate distributor-specific order forms.
Track project timelines to ensure timely ordering and delivery of new products for global launches.
Supply Chain & Order Management
Manage end-to-end order-to-delivery for European Bike, Warranty, and P&A supply to maximize revenue and streamline logistics.
Optimize distributor inventory to ensure delivery efficiency and reduce working capital.
Maintain SAP order book and delivery status; provide weekly updates to Sales.
Export & Documentation Coordination
Oversee export documentation for European shipments to non-EU distributors.
Communicate product spec changes to all stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with brand planning to resolve supply issues and enhance delivery performance.
Contribute to cross-functional projects that support business objectives.
Drive continuous process improvement in partnership with leadership.
What You Bring to the Table:
3–5 years of experience in planning, forecasting, MRP, and inventory management
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficient in SAP and highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
Experience with import/export operations and international logistics
Background in international sales or business
Knowledge of the cycling industry or a genuine passion for the sport is a plus
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Sales, Planning, and Supply teams
Proactive mindset with a desire to take ownership of supply and delivery functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally to international locations outside Europe
